We are all fascinated with the tunnels int the mountains so we stopped to yell and look!

The next stop was at the electrical factory where Norway's water power all started.  It was the beginning to their economical uphill.

After the whole day of sight seeing we stopped for some delicious Norwegian soup along with some Milk cakes for dessert. It was an amazing day and I will remember it forever.

Halloween in Norway

 After we spent sometime on the farm we went home where we got ready for a Halloween party.  Halloween is fairly new and is celebrated by the younger generation.  I didn't bring a costume with me but I throw some things together and I was a pirate!

Bergen Trip

The tenth graders took a field trip to Bergen so we got to take a day off school and enjoy the city.  The students got to choose from a art museum or visit the hospital.  I went with the students to the hospital as we sat in on a lecture about the human brain and then visited the anatomy lab.  After the hospital we went down to the center of the city and the students got a few hours to shop and look around the town.  After shopping we all got dressed up and we headed to the Bergen theater where we saw Fanny and Alexander.  It was all in Norwegian but we got to read a short summary of it so we had an idea of what was going on.  It was a great trip and since we got back around 3 am we got the next day off of school.
